FALL 2010 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
TEE BALL, BASEBALL and SOFTBALL REGISTRATION One significant item of note regarding the Fall program: Fall 2010 program participants will NOT be given Lottery selection priority for the Spring 2011 season and will be treated the same as a New player registrant. A player that did not participate in Spring 2010 season, but plays in Fall 2010, will not be granted priority or “Returning Player” status when the Spring 2011 season registration opens. The Fall program is designed as a 2-month supplement to the Spring program to give players that enjoy baseball and softball a chance to play twice a year. For many players, it is also an opportunity for them to get a head start on their Spring league since a player's Fall league assignment is based on their playing age for the following Spring season. Player assessments are not performed and teams are assigned instead of using a draft selection system and the focus of the Fall program is less on winning and competition and more on player development and transition based on their Spring league assignment. Please download and read the following Fall program description so that you know what to expect as you consider registering. Click here to read the Fall 2010 Program Overview Registration is available on a first-come first-serve basis with no priority given to returning Spring or Fall players. Teams will be assigned by League Commissioners and/or the Player Agent between August 9th and 22nd and all parents/players will be notified of team assignments prior to August 29th. Practices are scheduled to begin on Monday, August 30th, and the season will conclude on or before Saturday, October 30th (weather permitting). If necessary, the season will conclude on Saturday, November 6th, only if an additional weekend is required to complete the minimum number of games for the Fall season due to weather cancellations. Cost for the Fall season will be $175 for all baseball and softball age groups and $150 for tee ball. The registration fee includes a standard picture package for all players. Players should be registered based on their league age for the Spring 2011 season. For baseball, this is the age of a player as of April 30th, 2011. For softball, it is the age of a player as of December 31st, 2010. Please determine the league age for your son or daughter and use this age to select the proper category in which to register.
