South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia will participate along with Ocee
Park as the host league for the right to advance to the World Series.
This web page will be Tournament Central for information on the 12U/60 SE Regional

the latest information from tournament officials.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED -- SOUTHEAST REGIONAL 12U60 TOURNAMENT
Hosting a tournament, particularly one as important and prestigious as a Regional tournament, takes
a significant number of dedicated volunteers to be successful. We are looking for volunteers that are
willing to help with the planning, preparation, and execution of the Regional tournament. We need
skills ranging from field preparation and maintenance, souvenir and concession planning, hotel and
accommodation planning, banquet and meeting planning, sponsorship and program ad sales, supply rental
and procurement, and other vital areas. We are in the formative stages for the tournament committee
which will feature Coordinators in a variety of different areas. If you are interested in volunteering
to help with the planning and execution of the Regional tournament,
please send an email to Wayne
Henderson and Reese Jacobs by clicking here.
SPONSORS NEEDED -- SOUTHEAST REGIONAL 12U60 TOURNAMENT
Hosting a tournament like a Southeast Regional is an expensive proposition for the host league. It
also offers a great opportunity for local businesses to showcase their products and to attract business
from tournament participants. From July 23rd through July 29th, teams from 7 states around the Southeast
including 150 players and coaches and countless family members will converge on the Johns Creek and Alpharetta
areas for the tournament. Restaurants, hotels, and entertainment are just a few of the services of interest
to the tournament guests. Tournament officials are also looking for sponsors that may wish to donate services
or products to assist with the staging of the tournament. If you are a business interesting in being a tournament
sponsor, advertising in the tournament program, or donating services or products for the tournament,
please send an email to Wayne
Henderson and Reese Jacobs by clicking here.
BABE RUTH/CAL RIPKEN SOUTHEAST REGION
Georgia is one of 7 states in the Southeast Region along with Alabama, Florida, South Carolina,
North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The Southeast Region is the second largest in the Babe
Ruth/Cal Ripken program in terms of leagues and teams. The Regional Commissioner for the Southeast
Region is Henry Sermons who is based in Havelock, North Carolina. The state commissioners for each
of the 7 states in the region are directly responsible to Henry for the operation of the region.
